Visual vs Audio Reaction Time
Find and click the number as fast as you can. Takes about 3–4 minutes.
Alternate between participants: P01 visual first, P02 audio first, and so on.
This browser can't speak, so the audio condition won't work. Please use a recent version of Chrome, Edge or Safari.
- Rest your mouse in the middle of the grid and watch the +.
- After a short, random wait, a number from 1–9 will either appear on screen or be spoken aloud, depending on the block.
- Click the square with that number as fast as you can.
- Don't click before the number arrives. Clicking too early restarts the trial.
- Each block starts with a few practice trials. Turn your sound on (headphones are best).
